Catch a glimpse of what’s to come with our sneak peek at French Connection SS12…
The theme for the day was festival dressing, featuring familiar sights from the summer event favourite including portaloos, staging, flight cases and mic stands. Rainbow brights were suspended from umbrellas and included cute boho smock dresses, delicate embroidery and fine silk and sequinned pieces. Guests munched on treats from Ottolenghi and supped cider and gin & tonics to fit in with the music festival theme. All that was missing was the sun!

Exclusive: French Connection has launched the first UK YouTube store, a channel that offers visitors a personalised virtual shopping experience.
Got a style dilemma? Visit YouTique and choose from numerous options, ranging from a first date to a job interview or wedding.
Interact with the latest collection through a series of videos hosted by style star Louise Roe who has worked with MTV, Vogue and ELLE. Watch as she guides you through different occasion outfits and offers tips on how to style them. The viewer can then purchase the selected outfit by clicking on the video, or continue to interact for further options.

What Goes Around Comes Around
This season French Connection is going back to its roots with our exclusive 1972 Vintage collection. An exclusive range of items that were originally sold in store when French Connection launched in 1972, the collection celebrates more than three decades of style. Chairman and founder of the company, Stephen Marks, worked together with French Connection’s head of design to unearth the classic designs from the brand’s archive. The result is a feminine collection of 70s styles the in-house design team have translated into timeless style for Autumn/Winter 2010. Électrique are particularly enamoured with the Vintage Grace Lace Shirt, perfect with this season’s nude palette.
