Électrique has been a longtime admirer of the ultra-chic blog Dead Fleurette, so we were very pleased when the anonymous author agreed to answer our questions.

Dead Fleurette

Can you describe yourself in five words?
Uncompromising flaneur with perfectionistic tendencies.

What’s in your handbag?
I always bring hand salve, my moleskine weekly planner, sunglasses, things that provide escapism such as my iPod and a novel, a pouch that contains money, my credit cards and painkillers, and a set of keys.

What one item of clothing would you save from a fire?
My Isabel Marant Bator coat because it’s unlikely that I’ll ever find it again. I have a perennial penchant for my Isabel Marant boots and A.P.C. tops as well but these items are possible to unearth if my clothes happen to be on fire (haha!)

Do you have a good luck charm?
Unfortunately, I don’t. Perhaps that explains why I’ve had bad luck all my life?

What would you ask for if you were granted one wish?
If I was granted one wish, I would ask for granting infinite wishes!

Électrique caught up with new kid on the block, Ashely of Milk Teeths, who was recently voted the Next Big Style Blogger by Refinery29.

Ashley

Can you describe yourself in five words? Playful, bookish, observant, quirky, prompt.

What’s your fashion vice? Brown leather shoes, I’m drawn to them like a moth to a flame. No other colour could ever really compare so I’ve accumulated quite the collection. I should force myself to branch out, though!

When did you last tell a lie? I suppose I creatively retold the truth today…

What are your current inspirations? Ballet dancers and 1950s tourist style.

What song gets you on the dancefloor? Any, and I do mean any, Black Eyed Peas song (guilty pleasure alert).

This week Électrique caught up with Cat Deeley’s stylist and Grazia’s Contributing Fashion Editor, Anna Foster.

Anna Foster

Can you describe yourself in five words?
Loyal, honest, perfectionist, optimistic, stubborn.

What’s in your handbag?
Sunglasses (ever the optimist), phone, camera, rose perfume by le labo, smythson diary, wallet and umbrella (ever the realist)!

What’s been your most memorable fashion disaster?
I’ve clearly never had one!

When was the last time you embarrassed yourself?
At a party during London Fashion week when I walked past Professor Green and said “Wow… I think you’re really cool… Oh crap …. Did I say that out loud?”

When did you last tell a lie?
Saturday night – “‘ll be ready in 5 minutes.”

Freelance writer and photographer Rachael Wright answers our questions.

Rachael

We caught up with Marie Claire’s resident NY blogger to talk pets, guilty crushes and root beer.

1.    Can you describe yourself in five words?
Always late. Sorry about that.

2.    What’s your drag queen name? (first pet’s name and mother’s maiden name)
Goldie Marlow. Goldie was a goldfish and I used to stroke him. I’ve since been told this is quite weird. My sister killed Goldie but I killed her hamster a couple of years later, so we’re even. I’d like to add that both deaths were accidental – we weren’t sadists or anything.

3.    Tell us a secret!
Stifler from American Pie is pretty much my ideal man. I think this might be where I’m going wrong.

4.    What would be the first sentence of your biography?
I just remembered who I am.

5.    What is your idea of bliss?
An ice-cold can of A&W root beer. Or a secret cigarette and a bit of peace and quiet while looking at New York on my roof at night.
